Parents often say, “I want to go to camp!” Well, here’s your chance! Enjoy a weekend at YMCA Camp Ernst with your family and friends. Each family is assigned to their own cabin, eats meals in the dining hall, and gets to do the classic Camp Ernst activities together including the Zipline, banana boat, horseback riding, and more!

Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend

Family Camp costs $380 for a cabin of four people (sleep 16 adults).  
Add more family members (or friends) for an additional fee.  Children 4 and under are free.

Drop the kids off at 6 p.m. and pick them up the next morning at 9:30 a.m. for an evening a fun and new friendship! Your campers will stay overnight in Camp Ernst’s Lakeview Lodge with other children their age and college aged counselors. The fun includes games, crafts, campfire, hikes, and more. Dinner and breakfast will be served. Campers, ages 6-15 are welcome to register! Campers, age 9-15 can also add an optional Ranch Day (9:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m.) for $40 for a full day of lessons, arena rides, and trails!

The Rockin' E Ranch with The Stables at YMCA Camp Ernst, funded by the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Foundation is equipped with a 28 stall barn, two riding arenas, a fluctuating herd of 25-30 horses, and miles of trails! All of our ranch programs are lead by our CHA certified director and her team of knowledgeable and experienced wranglers.

RANCH DAYS (ONE DAY)
This is the perfect opportunity to brush up on your skills before summer or it can be a great introduction into the Ranch Camp program.  Groups will rotate between arena riding, trail riding, and ground training.  Programs are one day and run from 9:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.  The cost is $40.

RANCH WEEKEND (TWO NIGHTS)
Campers enjoy all of the fun of ranch camp packed into just one weekend.  All campers and counselors stay in Lakeview Lodge (which is heated).  Activities include barn rotations like ground lessons and arena and trail rides. Evening programs include traditional Camp Ernst fun, s'more making, and more!

Campers are dropped off at 7 p.m. at Lakeview Lodge on Friday night. Please be sure that your camper has had dinner before they arrive. Pick up is at 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.  The cost of the Ranch Weekend is $115 for YMCA members and $125 for non-members.

Campers age 6 to 15 can join us for one of our four weekend camps throughout the year. New and experienced campers enjoy all the fun of a week of camp packed into just one weekend. All campers and counselors stay in Lakeview Lodge (which is heated). Campers participate in camp activities with their cabin group during the day and come back to the lodge for fun evening programs at the end of the day. Campers make s’mores, sing songs, climb the rock wall, play capture the flag, ride horses, and so much more.

Enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend at YMCA Camp Ernst for our Women’s Wellness Weekend. We offer participants a menu of activities to meet nearly every interest. Enjoy quality time with friends new and old, try a few new activities, and enjoy some peaceful time for yourself. Activities include horseback riding, high ropes course, lake activities, hiking, yoga, stress release, health and fitness sessions, crafts, and so much more!
