FUN 2B FIT
Fun 2B Fit is a program designed to reverse the trends of childhood obesity by combining fun and exercise.  In a group setting, children participate in non-competitive activities and begin to learn what living a healthy lifestyle is all about.  The child’s BMI must rank in the 85% or higher or have a doctors’ referral to participate. 

TEEN FIT
Teenagers, 12-15 years-old are required to complete this one-on-one orientation to have access to the fitness center. Teens will be taught how to use the cardiovascular and weight machines in a safe manner, learn the rules and regulations, and even determine how to calculate their target heart rate. Teens will also be educated on the basic principles of nutrition, flexibility, and major muscle groups.

SilverSneakers® offers an innovative blend of physical activity, healthy lifestyle, and socially oriented programming that allows older adults to take greater control of their health.
 

SILVERSNEAKERS®MEMBERS RECEIVE:

This program at the Clippard Family YMCA & the Colerain Senior Community Center invites you to join the fun and be forever young! Members 50 and over can participate in book club, educational series, wellness seminars, quilting, bus trips, health screenings, socials, bingo, and more. Members participate in activities at no cost. Non-members rates depend on the activity. Monthly calendars are available at the Clippard Family YMCA Welcome Center or here.

BOONE COUNTY SENIOR CENTERS
The Boone County Senior Center, Florence Senior Activity Center, and the Walton Senior Center provide physical, recreational, and educational opportunities to seniors in our community. We welcome adults age 60 and over to come join in the fun! Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. each day to those who have made a reservation one day in advance. A variety of activities are available to participants. These include: Exercise, Bingo, Euchre, and Bunco.  As well as Health screenings, Art classes, and Wellness presentations.
