Camp Ernst has nominated Sophie Yeager for their November volunteer spotlight. Sophie serves as the co-chair for the YMCA Camp Ernst Junior Board. As a volunteer for the past 3 years, Sophie’s favorite activity is volunteering with the kids. She loves working with the kids because “I grew up at the Y… and I want other kids to have the same amazing experience that I had.” In her free time, Sophie enjoys hanging out with friends, dancing, and baking. The biggest lesson Sophie has learned about volunteering is “it is truly life changing for yourself and for the people you are helping.” THANK YOU, Sophie, for your commitment to making the Y a better place for all!
