Hank Boe has been nominated by M.E. Lyons YMCA for being an outstanding facilities volunteer, making sure the building is clean and safe for the community. Recently, Hank’s favorite volunteer activities are refilling and utilizing the sanitation bottles and ensuring all of the machines are wiped down and ready for use. “There’s really nice people here who care about others,” Hank says about why he continues to volunteer at the Y. One of Hank’s biggest passions is cooking; he was a chef for 15 years and had his own restaurant! His biggest inspiration is his wife: reminding him to get up and going each day and how they are honest with each other. THANK YOU, Hank, for your service to the Y!
