Keystones of Community Impact
2022
Keystones are a critical part of the design of a masonry arch, holding all other pieces in place. The YMCA is celebrating the Keystones of Community Impact who are working to strengthen the community through their service and generosity.
Stories of Impact
Resource Coordinators, in partnership with numerous local partners, connect children, youth, and families to resources and enrichment that go beyond the classroom wall to provide relevant, collaborative, and community-focused initiatives; strengthening the foundations of our education landscape.
The Y Marketplace is driven by dedicated volunteers and distributes food to local families every week. After serving over 18,000 meals in the first year, it continues to grow to meet community needs within the community that it serves.
The YMCA Camp Ernst Junior Board works year-round on projects with goals of improving staff and camper experiences. The board elevates youth voice and empowers them to make positive change. The annual Polar Leap fundraising event is a fan favorite, raising over $16,700 for camper scholarships.
