Youth & Teen
Our Y Teen Fitness program is a great way to introduce youth and teens to proper exercise techniques, using our strength training and cardiovascular equipment.
Ages 9-11 | Fitness Center
Members, ages 9-11, may only use cardio equipment in the fitness center after completion of an orientation and while under direct supervision of a parent or an adult.
Ages 12-15 | Fitness Center
Members, ages 12-15, must have completed Teen Fit orientation to use the fitness center without a parent. Teens will be taught how to use the cardiovascular and weight machines in a safe manner and learn the rules and regulations. Teens will also be educated on the basic principles of nutrition, flexibility, and major muscle groups.
Group Fitness Classes
Ages 9-11 | Group Fitness
Children, ages 9-11, are welcome to join in group fitness classes with a parent or an adult unless the class involves weighted equipment.
Ages 12-15 | Group Fitness
Ages 12-15 can attend group fitness class and parents/guardians are encouraged to attend the first class to orient the teen.
