Competitive Swim Team
Competitive Swim Team
Competitive swim teams are available for children as young as five. The swim team program helps swimmers develop healthy, lifelong skills and habits as both individuals and team members. YMCA swim coaches work with swimmers and families to promote achievement, facilitate positive relationships and create a sense of belonging, all with the goal of helping individuals realize their full potential in and out of the water. Swimmers have competitive opportunities at the local, regional and national levels of both the YMCA and USA Swimming. You must be a YMCA of Greater Cincinnati member to participate in our competitive swim program.

Ages 19 & Older | Masters Swim
Masters swimming provides a fun and supportive group environment, for adults age 19 and older, in which individuals set their own goals – competitive, fitness or otherwise. It is beneficial for anyone who is able to swim laps and is interested in improving stroke technique, fitness, or who just wants to share their love of swimming with others. Competitions are offered but not expected or required.
Workout sessions typically last an hour and interested swimmers are welcome to try a few sessions before deciding whether to join.
Ages 6-19 | Synchrogators
The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Synchrogators team offers training and practice groups for swimmers, generally between the ages of 6 and 19. Synchronized swimming is a hybrid form of swimming that utilizes water skills, along with dance and gymnastics in performing complex routines in the water, accompanied by music. The YMCA Synchrogators train and nurture young people to develop the confidence and poise needed to become successful in swimming and in life. The program currently has swimmers involved in collegiate programs across the country.Register Now
