Volunteer of the Year:
Kae Lee Aschettino

Camp Ernst Ranch Volunteer

Kae Lee Aschettino is an extraordinary volunteer at Camp Ernst Ranch, always going above and beyond to enhance the experience for both the horses and campers. Her dedication to teamwork and her natural ability to connect with everyone on-site make her an essential part of our community. Whether she’s offering a helping hand, engaging with others, or stepping into a variety of roles with incredible grace and flexibility, Kae Lee’s positive energy is felt in everything she does.

Her commitment to the program is unwavering. From spending long hours tending to barn chores, and ensuring the horses’ environment is clean and well-maintained, to leading crafts with ranch campers, Kae Lee’s efforts continually elevate the program and inspire those around her. We are incredibly grateful to have her as a core member of our volunteer team—her passion and dedication make a lasting impact.

A lifelong lover of horses, Kae Lee finds joy not only in being around them but in sharing that passion with others. She’s formed strong connections with the staff and takes pride in creating memorable experiences for families, especially during trail rides, which are her favorite part of volunteering. Seeing the joy that the horses bring to both campers and their families brings her immense satisfaction.

For Kae Lee, volunteering at the ranch is much more than giving back—it’s a personal refuge. Working from home, she treasures the opportunity to immerse herself in nature, finding peace and balance in the outdoor environment. Camp Ernst offers her the perfect space to reconnect with what she loves, making her time at the ranch deeply fulfilling. We are so fortunate to have Kae Lee on our volunteer team, where her love for the ranch, the horses, and the campers shines through in everything she does!

Congratulations Kae Lee on being selected as Camp Ernst’s 2024 Volunteer of the Year!
