Something special is happening here...
Learn. Grow. Thrive
Millie, who has spina bifida, is part of the infant program at Batavia Heights Christian Child Care Center. During a recent visit, a therapist shared, “This is the most interactive daycare I’ve seen. The staff genuinely care,” noting how receptive the teachers were to the strategies and demonstrations provided. That level of care is something Millie’s family experiences every day. Millie is a joy in the classroom, bringing smiles to those around her each day as she reaches new milestones!
Innovative Wellness Opportunities
Y Journeys are a new series of adult retreats that combine nature, wellness, and service, with individual reflection and community connection. In 2025, the retreat program was piloted at Camp Ernst with 25 individuals coming together for a full day of strengthening their spiritual and mental wellness. In 2026, the program is being expanded to 6 retreats!
Creating Connected Communities
The Y brought together 175 community members through its Welcoming Week Dinner, creating a welcoming space for people from diverse backgrounds to connect, share a meal, and engage in meaningful conversations. Through thoughtful, values-based activities, participants built understanding across differences and strengthened their ability to see the world from one another’s perspectives.
