The Y offers a variety of senior programs and wellness opportunities for active older adults including physical fitness, social activities and more.
Fitness SchedulesMembership

- A fitness center membership at the YMCA.
- Customized active older adult classes designed to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance.
- Access to indoor and outdoor lap swimming and water classes.
- Health education seminars and other events that promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

The award-winning SilverSneakers® Fitness Program is a proven, results-oriented program that enables older adults, often burdened with chronic conditions, to take charge of their health and maintain an active, independent lifestyle. Open to members of participating Anthem or Humana insurance plans.

AOA Forever Young Senior Programs
Forever Young Senior Program
This program at the Clippard Family YMCA & the Colerain Senior Community Center invites you to join the fun and be forever young! Members 50 and over can participate in a book club, educational series, wellness seminars, quilting, bus trips, health screenings, socials, bingo, and more. Members participate in activities at no cost. Non-members rates depend on the activity. Monthly calendars are available at the Clippard Family YMCA Welcome Center

Senior Centers in Boone County
The Boone County Senior Center and the Skees Senior Activity Center, managed and operated by the R.C. Durr YMCA, offer a welcoming space for adults aged 60 and over to stay active, socialize, and learn. Both centers provide a variety of physical, recreational, and educational opportunities to enrich the lives of seniors in our community.
Our typical operating hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
A variety of activities are available, including fitness classes to keep you moving, games such as Bingo, Euchre, and Bunco for fun and social engagement, and health screenings to support your well-being. We also offer art classes to explore your creativity and wellness presentations to keep you informed. We invite you to join us for lunch at 11:30 a.m. daily—simply make a reservation at least 48 hours in advance.
