🌷 Help Us Get Ready for an Amazing Summer at the Y!

Summer at the YMCA is a season full of connection, growth, and opportunity for thousands of youth, families, and community members across Greater Cincinnati.

And it all starts with you!

During our Association-Wide Spring Spruce Up, volunteers from every YMCA of Greater Cincinnati branch will come together the weekend of April 24–25 to prepare our spaces for the busy season ahead. This coordinated effort brings together staff, volunteers, and community members to create welcoming, safe, and organized environments for all.

At the Y, we are committed to strengthening communities by ensuring everyone feels they belong and has access to opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. Events like Spring Spruce Up help create spaces where individuals and families can connect and feel supported .

Your time and effort directly support youth programs, summer camps, aquatics, and community spaces that bring people together all summer long.

What Volunteers Will Do

Volunteer projects may include:

• Preparing outdoor pools and pool decks for the summer season
• Cleaning and organizing summer camp classrooms and storage areas
• Sorting and organizing program and activity supplies
• Refreshing outdoor spaces, patios, and gathering areas
• Assisting with light cleaning and facility organization projects
• Helping staff prepare youth program and family activity spaces

No special skills are needed—just a willingness to lend a hand and be part of something meaningful.
