Cincinnati, Ohio – April 3, 2024 – HER Cincinnati (est. 1830 as Cincinnati Union Bethel) a leading social services agency whose purpose is to empower women to break the cycles of poverty, addiction, and human trafficking, is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the YMCA. Beginning in March 2024, the YMCA will serve as the official child care provider for the newly established Walnut Hills Early Learning YMCA at Cincinnati Scholar House.

An important aspect of the YMCA's mission is inclusivity, which is evident in the core values of the YMCA: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

We just celebrated the Day of Giving which kicks off the Community portion of our Annual Support Campaign. Thanks to each of our donors we collectively raised $49,480. Through this campaign, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

The Annual Support Campaign supports the YMCA's mission to strengthen our community by promoting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. All money raised goes back to your communities to help with Veteran and family memberships, provide swim lessons, or send a child to camp.

Camp Ernst, which is tucked away in Kentucky's gorgeous scenery, offers kids a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for growth, exploration, and memories. At YMCA Camp Ernst, a diverse array of activities awaits campers, ensuring an adventure-filled summer. From thrilling ropes courses and zip lines that challenge their limits to archery, horseback riding, and team sports that ignite their competitive spirit, the camp offers a wide range of experiences tailored to meet the interests and passions of each camper. These activities not only provide excitement and fun but also promote physical fitness, skill development, and self-confidence.

YMCA of Greater Cincinnati offers swim lessons that use a skill-based approach designed to meet the needs of our participants. Lessons are given across 8-week sessions.

The week of September 17-24 we encourage our members to bring a friend to their favorite workout or fitness class. Many of our branches are hosting Group Exercise Sampler days to give our community even more opportunities to try a new class.
